Welcome to The Escape Fine Crafts and Gifts online. We began as a brick and mortar store in historic downtown Georgetown, Tx in 1996. We entered the cyber-shopping world in 1999, and have enjoyed meeting so many great people from all over the country. We are a gift and home furnishings store that specializes in handmade items from throughout the USA. We sell a few carefully chosen foreign artisan made products as well. We have represented over 500 artists and craftsmen and add new ones to that list every month, so please visit often to see what's new.

Peter Chapman's Class Menagerie puzzles are solid wood puzzling wonders. With his saw he has cut the wood in such a way that when you handle the puzzle, it becomes animated. Each has a ”key“ that when you remove it you can take it apart to find the surprise inside. The popular penguin is in rich walnut wood with maple front and beak.
